What do you want ?
I get many answers to that question, but one of the most common is "to love and be loved"...
I think we automatically think that to love someone they have to be close... family, best friend, fiancee, etc...
BUT GOD, see's it differently... Check out Matthew 25:35-40, Jesus speaking to the righteous... And Matthew 19:19 & 22:39, "..Love your neighbor as yourself".
So, who is our neighbor ? Just look around, they are all around us... When we reach out to help anyone, we are fulfilling that command...
I believe Christ's love for us propels us to love others...
and we are loved in return...
